Wilson is launching a new padel racket range for players that like to be on the front foot.
The Wilson blade v3 line includes three rackets in total with two of the new Blade rackets packing carbon fiber faces to handle regular padel outings. the blade pro v3 and the blade v3 matches that carbon fibre with a firm EVA foam to help players generate more power when returning. The blade ls v3 looks to be the more beginner-friendly option in the new line and swaps carbon fibre for fibreglass and uses a softer foam and as a result offers a more comfortable approach to striking the ball.
The blade has already made its mark on the professional game with Spanish padel player Javier garrido putting the blade V3 pro racket to the test at the Premier padel event in Malaga, which took place earlier this month.
If you’re interested in picking up any of the three new Wilson blade v3 padel rackets, they’ll be going on sale on the wilson website from july 22nd. The blade V3 has already popped up on the Wilson Uk website for the princely sum of £220, so be prepared to spend big if you want one.
